Breana Koffler, MSPT, MTC, ATC, NCPT

We all have our story of how we arrived where we are. Sometimes we wander off the main trail and decide to experience a different course, a different career, and in my case, experience a different movement . . .

Through the years I have had a passion for movement. I was one of those kids that would not sit still too often…always curious. My parents told me they had a feeling I would move away from home to seek new adventures… and I did!

I'm a born and raised Ohio girl that played every sport offered, every dance lesson, gymnastics, piano - all of it. I landed on basketball because of the the competitiveness and perhaps was following the lead of my older brother. Basketball took me to a collegiate level - this formed who I am to this day! Naturally, for my love of sport, I chose athletic training as an undergraduate degree. Connecting with the athletes and rehab were my most favored memories. The wins, the sorrows, the sadness from injury… then the recovery, the joy the win!

After those four years I moved on to graduate school for physical therapy. I wanted more education on movement- following this came Pilates - and on and on. The other part was I also wanted to have a family. As much as I adored the athletic training life, it would've been hard to do that and travel with a team all the time.

Fun Fact: Athletic trainers and physical therapists chose this career because of their own injuries and compassion for the deep connection to “ keep going!”. I've had my fair share of shoulder dislocations, a couple surgeries, and then recovery. There is always recovery. There is always rehab. I have had my share of wrecks on a mountain bike, ski accidents and been hit by line drive/softball.. twice! I learned that the “always rehab” “always recovery” and now “always manage" is a part of life… I try to deliver this mindset with my clients.

It would be an honor to watch you go through the process of healing your mind and body. As with any healing, it is not only physical , but psychological and emotional. I will take the time to listen and develop strategies for a successful approach in moving forward. Some have fear of another injury, another fall, another setback  or another missed game… There is always rehab.. there is recovery… and it will always need to be manage.

Remember, that creating different movement patterns takes time, healing and patience. You will be independent, empowered and make choices with your care.  Give yourself some grace and maintain Fortitude with the process and progress will occur!

Bree is great at helping “fix” body aches and pains, but she also educates her clients on how their body works and how they can help heal themselves. She provides accountability and communicates often with her clients to make sure progress continues. I am so grateful for her talents that have helped me get back to enjoying a fully active lifestyle.
— R.P. Client
Bree’s consistent attention to detail in my progress and adapting to those changes has been life changing. Her ability to check in with my issues, adjust my goals through her vast knowledge of exercises and movements and target my specific needs as I heal, is truly a gift.

She has been a constant source of strength, encouragement and guidance. She listens to my words as well as my body. Each step of the way making sure I am always comfortable and using proper form and breathing techniques. Bree has mastered the craft to be inspiring and caring while still motivating at the speed my body allows and finding the correct challenge and pace to make improvements.

With an arsenal of exercises, balance movements, stretches and strength builders to fill a lifetime of routines she has the uncanny ability to filter that information down to create a healing program that adapted to my needs as they evolved. She has given me the tools and knowledge to continue to heal on my own time. These movements and her vocal references have become a regiment in my daily exercises to this day.

Having a superb eye for alignment issues, adapting to my pain issues as they seem to change, knowledge of exercises to target problem areas and really caring about my care…Breana Koffler is one of those rare people you find when you’re in pain and losing hope and you suddenly realize you’ve found an actual healer.

I am so grateful I found Bree in Broomfield for my post-surgical rehabilitation! I cannot say enough good things about her holistic approach to movement and her personal approach to her clients. As a new mom with a skiing induced ACL injury, I was dreading physical therapy as one more thing I needed to do. Little did I know that meeting Bree would soon become the part of my week I looked forward to the most! I have never had that experience with physical therapy. Whether applying her pilates strategies to target specific areas out of balance, building back my confidence, or helping me find ways to fit the PT exercises into my busy mom life, I cannot thank her enough for truly caring about me as a person and giving me exactly what I needed, when I needed it. Thank you Bree for coming into my life and making it easy to get my active lifestyle back. You’re the best!

“I started seeing Bree for physical therapy and continue with weekly sessions for her holistic approach to wellness. Incorporating pilates based movement into my fitness routine has improved my posture, strength, range of motion, and reduced the neck pain that initially brought me in. She is a great listener which allows for a very tailored and adaptive approach. Highly recommend Bree’s practice in Broomfield to anyone who is active and wants to remain that way for years to come.”

I am a very active person who resisted going to PT for many years and now I ask myself why!! I found Bree in December 2022 when I was struggling with a nagging hip injury that was impacting my running and hiking. She has been absolutely incredible and 6 months later I feel stronger and fitter than I have ever before. I love her approach to treatment, rehab and ongoing maintenance!! I continue to see her once a month and always look forward to my visits. I cannot recommend her enough!

Bree is extremely knowledgeable and adjusts to meet the unique needs of each person that she works with. She integrates Pilates and functional movement into her physical therapy and I have made huge progress. She figures out the root of the problem of pain or tension. Hands down the best PT in the Broomfield and Westminster area. I feel energized, stronger, and have increased mobility. She helped my 10 year old daughter with pain as well and found ways to make it fun. She is an empathetic person who builds relationships and makes anyone feel comfortable.
